Deck That Works”? Why yes, my friends, I did. That’s the same reaction most people have when I tell them about the deck or when I play it against someone new. However, those who’ve played against it say, “Oh no, not that deck!”

Let me get one thing straight with you right now though: This is not my usual multiplayer chaos deck. This is definitely a dueling deck (it has occasionally worked against 2 opponents, but I wouldn’t recommend trying it until you get the strategy down against one opponent). And that being said, I also wouldn’t recommend attempting something like this in a quick duel. In fact, in a recent tournament with my friends, I used this deck to come in a close second out of 8 decks (I barely lost the third of 3 games to an aggro-Necro deck). I took on and defeated a fast Sliver deck, a standard burn deck, among other good decks.

Ok, time for a little backstory about the deck. I remember thinking, along with the rest of my friends, that Timesifter

As usual, the deck is over 60 cards but I feel that it gives me the edge especially with this deck because that means I’ve got a slightly better chance of outlasting my opponent if it comes down to decking. I also have included a lot of topdeck manipulation so I can find what I need to help me set up the lockdown and win. I must admit that a small portion of playing this deck is luck. But that applies to the game itself. The luck that your deck will provide you with what you need to win at the right time, in addition to the luck that your opponent’s deck does not work quickly enough to kill you. Ok, enough of that stuff. On to the card analysis.
