Hello again to the Cardshark fellowship. For this article I have a deck that has performed very well for me. It stands in against almost anything, and on occasion nets me a third turn win. The idea is to use as many Lightning Bolt

The gambit is that you have virtually no way to replenish your hand. Your opening seven are somewhat of a prophecy, which makes this deck the definition of living on the edge. The ideal opening hand is two Mountain

properly so that it cripples your opponent. For instance, wait until your opponent’s regeneration condition is unplayable. Six damage is not an option a vast majority of the time.

But the creatureless feature of this deck is not its main benefit. Its main dividend is speed. This deck forces an opponent to have a quality condition set up by turn three, otherwise they circle the drain.

will be nixed. Things to watch out for include: discard, card draw and counterspell. Bounce doesn’t matter much since there isn’t much to bounce. If land destruction were at all prevalent, I would worry about that as well. Hand size matters. Any time your card inventory is out of sync with your opponent’s, momentum is shifting. And enjoy!
