Mono-blue and U/G: pre-board: 35%, post-board: 45%
This deck suffers versus control, since control usually has enough lands to overcome all the LD. Blue-based control decks can bounce away threats, counter spells, and draw cards. Not what Ponza wants to hear. Also, cards like Meloku make this matchup a nightmare.

if you play it turn 2, and can deal a few points of damage before being bounced. However, the key is hitting them with Pulse when you know they cannot counter. Usually this is done by baiting their counter by playing some LD on one of their untapped lands. You need to really be aware of the board to win this matchup. This matchup is definitely not favorable, even after the sideboard.
