Face My Rath, MTGO - Beatdown Bedford Crenshaw (1/7/2009)

What is this? You thought it was 2008, not 1997 or 2006. Nope, you are not seeing things. For one, Tempest is being released again, this time on Magic Online, and second, I’m back. At least for a short while, that is. Tempest is still my favorite expansion ever. It is near perfect, every color has some very good stuff. Timmies got good stuff, Johnnies got good stuff, and Spikes got great stuff. I could write several articles, but seeing as this is a reprint, I doubt anyone would want to read several Tempest articles separated by color, so instead I’m giving a heads up to the Tempest newbie who wants to know what to look for.

Looking back, I have so many fond memories of this set. The precons even had three rares in a pack, instead of a measly two. That said, the Swarm Deck is the other one worth purchasing. I’ve been avoiding MTGO since 3.0 screwed things around, but I may very well come back for this. Hope to see you there.
