Great, maybe next time we can pacmanify and froggerfy. Decent Blue creature elimination? Wow. Yes, you are giving an opponent a 3/3, but if he did have a 4/4 or better, you still improve your position. Plus, you could always use it on one of your own, losing a token 1/1 for a 3/3. Lots of possibilities to go “ape” over.

A lot of casual fun, but a lack of special abilities stops it from Constructed, and in Limited it is awful unless you managed to force blue enough in the draft to go mono, which isn’t impossible but hard to do, especially since this is only available in the last pack passed around unless you are drafting triple-PC. Still, what do you expect from a blue fattie that doesn’t fly? Personally, I’d love to have seen Cheerwalk, Gainwalker, Bizwalker, and Surfwalker, that way, we’d have a spin-cycle. that you can choose to make a 2/2 flyer or a 1/6 wall when you cast it, it’s actually not that bad, especially as a blue creature. Heck, a 2/2 flyer for 4 was actually quite common for a long time, when R&D somehow thought a 2/2 for 3 was too good. Still, it is for Limited only, unless Elemental becomes a Tribal deck.

A timeshifted Sorcerous Queen? Well, it’s a great way to deal with opponent’s creatures in Limited, but is otherwise too easily eliminated unless you have strong counters to protect it, but wouldn’t you rather protect something else?

as the worst card due to typical discard spells that are much better than it.

This set was all about the Timeshifted goodies, and while there were some decidedly mediocre, most were nice to see. I rated every color but green’s best card to be a Timeshifted, and looking back I can see three different green Timeshifted cards that I may rate as the best of the color if I did it again. If I had rated Timeshifted cards in Common, Uncommon, and Rare instead of just Timeshifted, they would have almost always been ranked the best of their rarity. In the end, a black version for the most broken card in Standard wins out as Damnation
