Well this is my first look at trying to make the Fell Beast work.
You will notice that I have not used any of the other cards spoiled from Ents of Fangorn – Fell Beast is the only one.

The first thing that came to mind when I saw this card, was that it would be extremely useful for the twilight nazgul seeing as none of them have the fierce trait, where as most of the regular nazgul are.

So as you can see I made what I consider a fairly strong corruption deck. Fully based around making your burden adding nazgul fierce (mainly the witchking and enquea), the witchking has the chance of dealing an additional 4 wounds to the ring-bearer each turn.

The main problem I ran up against was the fact that the nazgul culture relies a lot on its own resources for corruption (such as the beast, gates, nazgul sword etc…) thus discarding cards when playing the fell beast became a problem…… that’s where the Rohan counter part comes in.

If you can discard Rohan weapons and the dwarf hand axe to play your fell beast rather than nazgul cards, then at least you’ve got a good chance of getting the possession’s back with the use of weapon store, ecglaf and armory.

If you do need to get rid of nazgul cards, start with the blade tips as their not overly important – just one of those transferred to frodo with Otsea is enough ;-) and then opt to discard the other one off type cards like, ferny, pale blade, dead city, grima etc….

This deck is designed to win with corruption. The FP side is strong enough to hold its own, but not really designed to deal a lot of wounds and/or run ahead.
Do keep in mind that this isn’t all there is to this deck. There could be more nazgul cards released in Ents of Fangorn that can power this up some more, not to mention that I may find other cards to play around with to make this deck more effective etc…. in which case I’ll probably write up another article titled the same thing except that it’ll be a part II, part III etc….

You could also experiment with the use of Morgul Skulker to recycle your discarded nazgul cards and perhaps throw in a Thin in Stretched with them, but obviously this takes away from the nazgul’s resources.

Going 2nd if you can manage it will allow you to grab Thedoen with your own site.
