Katrina decimated the Gulf Coast in the wee hours of the morning on August 29th. The winds and water caused massive loss of life and property, and the rescue and relief efforts are still going strong. To this end, one of our sellers, greggo4randy, is doing something special this month. Here’s what he said.

“For the month of September, all proceeds from my card sales on CardShark will be donated to relief efforts for the people affected by the aftermath of Hurricane

Katrina. The specific charity or charities will be disclosed once I've decided where the money will be going. The CardShark support team will get emailed receipts showing each donation (will be sending one after each weekly payment) so that anyone with any question as to the legitimacy of this promotion will be able to receive proof.”

To promote this noble effort on Greg’s part, his is the featured promotion this month. I’ve also elected to put a mention of it here in the Content section, just to spread the word to all of you article readers who don’t check the Promotion section every month (like me, I always forget about it until I accidentally order from someone doing a promotion). To give it some relevance, I thought a deck built around everyone’s favorite green direct damage spell Hurricane
