If the opposition remains in play, the deck always wins; otherwise it loses horribly: that’s the bottom line for all Opposition

is an interesting creature in that its most useful when its dead. It’s a 3/3 trample incarnation for G3 but when its in the graveyard, all your creatures get trample.

DILIGENT FARMHAND

Great card!! I don’t get why its not more popular. It’s a 1/1 one the first turn and on the second can be sacrificed to get a land and for the rest of the game it counts as a muscle burst in the graveyard.

KAMAHL, FIST OF KROSA

Enough said. Neither abilities require tapping and so this creature is the last card many players see.

KROSAN TRUSKER

I like this beast best, but then I don’t play with many primal decks. As a creature its merely a 6/5 for 5GG but when you cycle it you get another card and a land. I don’t think I’ll ever summon it as a creature.

WILD MONGREL

What’s to say? It combos well in any deck, easily converting a full hand into threshold and not to mention making Roar of the Wurm

cheaper.

CRUSH OF WURMS

Pricey but three 6/6 Wurms is nothing to laugh at.

DEEP RECONNAISSANCE and FAR WANDERINGS

These are two of the best ways to pull land from my deck. Both of them are good for threshold and speed but there superb for what comes next. . .

MIRARI'S WAKE

Yes. This is the reason for all of the effects that pull lands. A cycled ‘Tusker, sacrificed ‘Farmhand, Reconnaissance

, or Wanderings can pull the necessary plains. After the Wake is in play, you don’t need another plains but putting down lands that count for double or triple is fun. From then on, you can cast and flashback Roar of the Wurm

ability.

MUSCLE BURST

When they block your 1/1 with a 3/3 and the 3/3 loses, it’s a painful joke and with this card, it keeps getting more painful as the game progresses.

NATURALIZE

A lot of decks have this in their sideboard, and not their main deck, but I have no idea why. With all the nasty enchantments and artifacts, and decks that are based around them, floating around, this card will never truly be useless. They might be thinking that they’ll learn the first game to win the second and third game. Neither this idea nor sideboards ever work for me. I can’t anticipate not needing naturalize or decide what to take out when I do.

WEIRD HARVEST

No body likes these but they’re great. The trick is that you have to pull the creatures that will let you win quickly. If you have a Mongrel in play, pull as many creatures as you need to win or if you have lots of mana but no Kamahl, pull the Kamahl and use the ability. This deck gets sickening amounts of mana, I’m not kidding, so Kamahl’s land to creature ability is useful not to take mana burn, if nothing else.

One thing I like about my deck is that it’s cheap. If you were to buy the cards as singles, you might spend 84 dollars; that’s about the same as 4 Birds of Paradise

. It’s also relatively easy to play. The purpose of it is to beat through their creatures and trample other players into the ground, what’s so hard about that idea?
