Thanks to everyone who read “Making Snackrifices” – I was nearly moved to tears when I realized that something I wrote about my favorite game had been published and was being well-received. But enough of my sniffling, you’re here to read about Magic.

Everybody in my Magic playgroup has a favorite strategy. My boyfriend loves milling and landfall. Two of our friends buy pre-constructed decks and modify them. My favorite is a little odd – anything to do with enchantments is my thing. In this article, we’ll be discussing my favorite cycle of cards ever printed: the hybrid-mana “super-auras” from Lorwyn-Shadowmoor block.

, but it really isn’t a necessary component of the deck – it’s just plain fun. Some more card draw couldn’t possibly hurt, nor would including Sensei’s Divining Top or more mana acceleration. I haven’t been playing E.D.H. very long, so I’m still getting accustomed to the format, but this deck plays fairly well pretty consistently.

The other beautiful thing about the “super-auras” is that they go so well with my beloved Enchantresses. In fact, they go so well with them, I was able to build an Enchantress deck without using green. I went with white and black, building my deck around Nip Gwyllion
