CardShark Content - John Malcolm (10/17/2003)

I'd like to thank the people who sent their thoughts and criticisms to me after I posted the first article. I have taken them all into consideration, and changed this article's format around a bit to fit your suggestions.

In my last article, I stated that Goblins and White Weenie were the two aggro decks to beat, but that may have been an overstatement. Even with the inclusion of 8th Edition and Mirrodin, November T2 is looking very much like Onslaught

When you cycle Decree of Silence, you may counter target spell.
: If you cast it in response to the last counter being put on, it will come back to your hand and you will be able to recast it. Also, since this deck has no non-mass removal spells, you can use it to return a dangerous permanent to its owner's hand, then counter it when it's played.

And even then, you could have just countered it with any other counterspell in your deck. I'd rather keep more Chains of Vapor in the sideboard and bring those in.

That is all for this installment! I love it when I get an email response, so if you have anything at all to say please send it to me at sunekisan@yahoo.com. When you hear from me next, Mirrodin will have become T2-legal, which is going to be exciting since many of us who have only played online will finally see what decks win in real life!

Thanks for reading,
