CardShark Content - Jon Ariza (6/22/2006)

This is a deck that I've been working on in one way or another since the Ravnica Pre-release. I built this deck wanting to get all sorts of awesome creatures into play, but that would've required a finely tuned five-color deck or something a little more round-about. Choosing to go with the latter, this is what I came up with:

are in there too if you need them, but I typically use those for different purposes).

Lands (17): Looking at the land totals now, I can see it is somewhat odd. This is really what I've come up with after slight tweaks here and there from more traditional land mixes. While 17 lands may not seem a lot for a 65 card deck, this deck has loads of land grabbers and you'll find (or at least I have) that there will only be a few times when you are truly starving for land.

along with it. The purpose of the Angel is quite obvious, a solid 5/5 Flyer with the ability to destroy pretty much anything on either side of the field is an awesome asset. While a hefty presence on the field, its come-into-play ability is strong enough to warrant constantly sacrificing it and bringing it back (with Debtor's Knell) to constantly smash your opponent's permanents.

-only creature. I would have to say that this guy is a bit less useful than the other big creatures in the deck as it has no exceptional special ability. There were two main reasons why this card made it into the deck: 1) I couldn't really find any other creature of this size, and 2) I play against a friend who loves using Moment's Peace
