Hello everyone, it’s been a long time since I’ve written for Cardshark. I’ve had a lot going on in my life, but this isn’t the place to talk about that. I’m here to talk about a different kind of blue/black control. One that wins not by decking, but by out-drawing your opponent.

– Wow, did I underestimate this guy. Force this boy in there, you’ll be glad you did. He’s a game winner just for the simultaneous card advantage and disadvantage he creates. He’s easily killed, but you opponent really can’t leave him in play because he will hit eventually.

– This guy is HUGE. Nuking the creature you can deal with when he comes down and taking out creatures of 2 or 1 toughness without a scratch; he’s insanely versatile. He’s the best weapon you have main deck against red/white aggro.

Kokusho The Evening Star – Anyone who has played this guy or played against him will tell you he can’t hit play. If he does, you’re looking at a 10 point life swing at the least. He doesn’t need to be talked up to be played in the deck. He speaks for himself.

Keiga The Tide Star – Kill their fatty, then steal the other one? Sign me up. As with Kokusho, although usually not as detrimental, if he hits play you’re all smiles and you opponent is not looking too good.
