Biomancer Beats them All - Lucas B. (4/10/2013)

Hey all. I'm back after a brief hiatus and hopefully will be able to provide some more quality articles!

Murphy's Law loves showing itself whenever I try to visit a Magic tournament. Every single time (with absolutely no exceptions) has everything gone wrong as I attempted to go to local PTQs, SCG Opens or SCG Invitational Qualifiers. Even when it was under 4 miles away, in my hometown, did something go wrong. (I showed up 90 minutes before registration started...) I've driven in blizzards, driven an hour in the wrong direction, and even lost a highway. (Seriously, if you ever have been to Colorado you do not magically end up off the I-25. Somehow I did. Don't ask me how. I have no idea.)

So when I found myself pulled over only 10 minutes into my journey frantically writing down directions on the back of a receipt as my GPS flashed "Low Battery," I was not surprised.

Eventually, through some miracle (Devastation Tide
