In all the articles I've read, people have talked about this card, or that card, and how wonderful it is. True, most of the cards mentioned are indeed very good. But I've got another point of view. First, to put this into perspective, I recently went to the Mirrodin pre-release (My first large event of any kind) and pulled two Nuisance EngineNuisance Engine

s, along with several other of the more popular cards. At first I just ignored the Engines, as I was concentrating on building a strong deck. Eventually, I came back to them, and added them to my deck as chump-blocker generators. I thought no more of it, and went on to play.
Between my first and second round, I was looking through my cards for possible combos, and I kept coming back to the Engine. I knew there had to be something there. The key is that the tokens generated have the following properties: 0/1 Pest Artifact Creature token. This is a lot more powerful in Mirrodin than it sounds at first glance. First: They're creatures, so they make great chump-blockers. Second: They're artifacts, so they count for Affinity. Third: They're artifacts, so they can be sacrificed to anything that wants an artifact. Like say... AtogAtog

s. Fourth: They share a creature type, so Coat of ArmsCoat of Arms

will quickly make them big.
I was onto something here, so when I got home, I pulled out MWS, and built some decks. Here they are, with basic descriptions of how the decks work. Questions and comments are appreciated, but please be kind, since these are the first decks I've posted online.

to retrieve artifacts from your graveyard if they get countered or destroyed.
I haven't played this deck yet, but it seems like a solid build. You may want to tweak mana balances a little, or adjust the creatures used.

I've played this deck a litte online, and it's been performing well. Be wary of oppenents playing heavy control or artifact-hate decks however, as most of this deck is artifacts, and some of the cards will be sure to draw counters when you play them.
