HIT ME! - Michael Macfarlane (7/28/2010)

Hello all, I've been working on a couple of Legacy decks, both with the idea of a wizard who is much like Urza

leave as a surprise in the cage?), really old... you get my drift. So, this wizard (sorry, we've been upgraded to Planeswalkers now) is interested in either sitting back and watching the world kill itself, or deciding to help it along. Let's help it along this time - part 2 will address the former idea.

No creatures AND stay alive? That's the tough question. White and life gain? Green and Fog

? How about both features in black? Black adds some nice creature control as well. The most amazing fact about this deck is the speed of the games. Everyone dies a LOT faster. I've dealt over 70 damage equally in a multiplayer before turn 7. If you start with a perfect hand (and no one counters anything), you could possibly kill any number of players on turn 4. Here's my current build:

- first off, a black counter is just awesome. Secondly, this was the last addition which put the deck over 60 cards because the burn decks I've faced needed some resistance. Having 5 life lost is a great deterrent in most cases. Also, even though the deck is 66 cards, you'll be amazed at the speed you burn through it.

is by far the coolest looking card in the deck - props to Mr. Kitkowsky (who would probably say, “Mr. Kitkowsky's my dad, I'm just his outrageously talented kid”). This is the more powerful of your bear traps. The problem is, with this card, as the flavor text states, the pain teaches perspective. Translation - play the card anyway, but be prepared for the trap to snap on your fingers (you have 7 others, you pansy- keep playing!).
