CardShark Content - Nathan Liss (1/24/2005)

After the Invasion of Chaos we saw very quickly that two chaos monsters stood above the rest, both for effect and group, you know who I'm talking about, Black Luster Soldier and Chaos Emperor Dragon. These cards have amazing abilities on their own but in my opinion it's their group that makes them so valuable. Dragons and Warriors are probrbly among the most abused deck types ever and though Dragons are my standard preference I have taken quite a liking to the chaotic soldier know as Black Luster.

The deck I have made runs off the theory that your hand will run out of cards. In most peoples eyes this is a bad thing, relying on topdecks to finish the duel can be rather unnerving. In this deck however you should plan on it. 90% of the cards in this deck work best under a top deck situation, as you will soon see. The deck has fastly become one of my favorites and is formidable against most any other deck you can face.

-Tributes/Special Summons

1 Black Luster Soldier
1 Swift Knight Gaia of the Gale
1 The Fiend Megacyber

2 Zombrya the Dark
2 Blade Knight
2 D.D. Warrior Lady
2 Command Knight
2 Marauding Captain
1 Familiar Knight
1 Exiled Force
1 Goblin Attack Force

3 Warrior Returning Alive
2 Reinforcement of the Army
2 Fusion Sword Murasame Blade
1 Pot of Greed
1 Change of Heart
1 Snatch Steal
1 Creature Swap
1 Heavy Storm
1 Giant Trunade
1 Mystical Space Typhoon
1 Premature Burial

3 Waboku
2 Dust Tornado
1 Torrential Tribute
1 Magic Cylinder
1 Call of the Haunted
1 Ring of Destruction

As you can see the monsters in this deck don't stay on the field veryh long. This of course is intentional. The Tribute monsters in this deck all have a key aspect about them, they don't have to be tribute summoned! You can normal summon Gaia from hand if you have no other cards in it. Megacyber can be normal summoned without tribute if your opponent has 2 more monsters than you. As for Black Luster, well you should know how he works.

Zombrya usually only lasts 2-3 turns before he's dealt with but now we have 1 Dark in the grave. Blade works best alone with the ability to raise his attack by 400 but even if he doesn't get his wat, 1 Light monster down as well. DDWL is also light and usually goes after one battle either to grave or to RFG, either way works for this deck. Command is just a normal little card who gives all your warriors a 400 attack power up, nice isn't he? Marauding is for speed along with Familiar. Exiled is removal in moster form at its finest and Goblins are just a beatstick.

Warrior Returning and Reinforcement get you back needed monsters in late game or early depending on the situation. Fusion is a 800 point increase that can't be destroyed by spell/trap removal. The rest are standard cards to remove traps, get back monsters, or take control of your opponent.

Traps should be standard, nothing out of the ordinary. Waboku for safety, Dust for added trap removal, TT is control, Cylinder for damage, Call for monsters, and Ring for an explosion =).

There you go, anyone looking to create a Chaos Warrior deck should be well on their way and hopefully enjoying every minute of it. Keep coming back cuz well you know you love my articles =P.
