is just an insane card. At first when I looked at his 2/2 frame for 2RRR casting cost I thought to myself, overcosted! Then I looked for untap effects and found a few here and there but found that it just wasn’t going to cut the mustard until I came up with an old standby back from my Stronghold days, Intruder Alarm

. With this in play and Kiki-Jiki having haste he can get right to the business of creating more copies of any creature that I had on the table, creature comes into play, he untaps and does it over again. The bonus was that these creatures had haste, the downside was that they didn’t stay after your end of turn but since you’re creating a million copies that could attack right then and there does it really matter?
During playtesting one of my friends decided to end the madness before it started by hitting Kiki-Jiki for two with Glacial Ray

which I promptly reacted to by stacking his ability over my opponent’s instant and just kept on creating more tokens. Good try though. This deck though created for fun, consistently gets the combo out on turn 4, in eight out of every ten games, without tutoring for the parts. Not bad for a “fun deck”.

Putting the pieces together

You should have grasped the basics of this deck by looking at the decklist so I won’t insult anybody’s intelligence by going into it further. Let me just add the pieces of the puzzle that you might not be familiar with.

means that 1) you can get another basic land from your deck thus filtering out the land and allowing you to draw cards you can cast, 2) you get a 2/2 attacking/blocking creature and 3) when the token goes to the graveyard you get card advantage.

Again, not too bad for a “fun deck”, not bad at all!
