RTR: Spooky Mayan Mysteries -
Rockford Wheeler
(1/31/2013)
Mayans! All their spooky, mystical powers of prediction have been well documented to be incredibly accurate. As predicted, the world ended on December 21 2012, and we are all, as you know, now living in a weird parallel plane of existence exactly like the old one which was surely ripped apart by meteor magnetic pole-shifting cataclysm clouds filled with bees. They also happened to predict major events in history such as the invention of the squirrel. Today, we heed the dire warnings and heartening predictions that these ancient scholars have passed on to us in the form of severely damaged rock carvings. The prediction of a location to place a rock so that it is not shattered is very difficult. The point is, through rigorous study of star movements and back massages performed by comely females (the ancient texts are very clear on this: predictions cannot be made accurately without back massages by comely females. Just beside the passage explaining this is another passage which roughly translated is “if you know what I mean -winky face-”) Mayans were able to not only predict the existence of a card game called Magic, but a specific set called “Return to Ravnica”. What's more, there seem to be predictions about people's personal destiny, based on which of these “cards” those people most enjoy. The following is a roughly translated transcript, pointing out what your favorite RTR card might say about you, gentle reader.
