. And you’re probably thinking, “Wait a minute, I don’t want to read some Type I article.” But still as all great decks are introduced to the game they must eventually leave the tournament area to a place where speed is the key. This same fate will occur with our beloved Goblin Bidding in a few short months so let’s take a look at what it is before it goes to extended forever.

Sharpshooter- Ping! Ping! Ping! A fantastic card for taking care of opposing creatures, especially with multiples on the field.

Piledriver- I would consider this to be the mainstay for this deck including the fact if you get it out with a Warchief and couple other goblin friends you could do some serious damage

Warchief- 3 mana for a 2/2 with haste gives your goblins haste and all goblins you play cost 1 colorless less. Need I say more?

Siege-Gang- A highly effective component in this deck as well. The power of a sharpshooter with the goods to fling a the opponent.

Sledder- A fast little guy that allows you do get in early damage

Incinerator- An extraordinary surprise for opponents. Say they block your Piledriver with a 2/2, bust out the incinerator and watch the grim look on their face as they take heavy damage.

Prospecter- Like the Sledder, a fast little guy who can give you mana for your siege-gang to burn up

Matchups
Ravager (25%-75%)
This is probably the most difficult challenge of all Type II decks. What would be a good strategy would to kill all of their Disciples as fast as possible. This is also where Death Pits could play key role with sharpshooter in order to clear a path for your Piledriver and to get rid of those pesky ravagers.

Goblin Bidding (50%-50%)
All that is necessary in this is to use your incinerators to the best of their ability. And to not play bidding unless they have half the amount of goblins in their graveyard than you do and you have a Warchief.

R/W Rift/Slide (75%-25%)
The key to winning here is to get your punches in quickly and not to worry about the rift. Always use the incinerator on the Exalted Angel
