Darksteel has been out for a while but there are still disputes as to what is the best color and what are the uncommon/common pick orders for the color wheel. Well, I have the answers to those two questions and I will be answering them in this article.

It seems that Darksteel is the inverse of Mirrodin in terms of the power of the colors. Blue, one of the weakest colors in Mirrodin is now the second most powerful only to black, which was incredibly weak in Mirrodin. So, with the two best colors determined, let me tell you the pick orders for these two colors.

*This list does not include rares.
**This list includes the respective land golems for each color.
***I will only be listing the top cards from each color, no chaff.

: This Wizard is easily the best blue uncommon in the set. First, it is a Grey Ogre which isn't terribly bad in this creature-light format. Its two abilities are what makes the card really shine. The first makes all of your artifact removal into creature removal for the small cost of U, which especially comes in handy in UG and UR draft builds. It also allows all of your artifact creatures to evade artifact removal.
