Slivers for the Win - Vincent Miao (2/17/2010)

Hi! Since this is my first article, let me introduce myself. I’ve been playing Magic: The Gathering for about as long as I could read the cards properly. I play on a weekly basis with a group of my friends. We play in a variety of ways, standard 1 on 1, two-headed giant, drafting, etc. There is a constant atmosphere of competition so we try our hardest to build the best deck in our spare time. This led me to build my sliver deck, which I will discuss in this article.

One day, when I was organizing my Magic cards, I came across a card called Ward Sliver

. Looking, at it, I thought, “How cool would it be to make a sliver deck?” I flipped through the rest of my 3000+ box of random cards and found a couple other slivers. After I tested a couple different variations, I settled on a white, blue, and green sliver deck with one main focus: putting the first sliver that I found in my collection, Ward Sliver
