While Legions may have been the least powerful set in several years, it still brought new and interesting cards to the table. (As hard as it is to believe, Wizards actually tried to make this set halfway decent. The only problem is that they ran out of creature ideas somewhere between Fugitive Wizard

1/1, Uncommon

I decided to start off with this potential powerhouse. As we all know, a 3/3 on turn two has serious power. A 3/3 flyer on turn two is even better (for those of you who are complete and total idiots and those of you whose only intent in the game is to get Krosan Cloudscraper

To attack with the Cavalry as a 3/3 on turn three, you need to be packing quite a few birds or Mistforms (and here’s a clue: if you’re really playing WW, you aren’t playing Mistforms.) For once, I actually find a card worthy of White Weenie. While it might not fit into the strategy of WW exactly, this is White’s personal Sharpshooter. In WW, you have no idea how many blockers this can take out, allowing for a game ending swing. This is a great card, hands down, and I think that any WW player should be running at least two of these, maybe three.

Verdict: Two thumbs way up, definitely not a crap rare.
