: I love this card and I don’t care who knows it. If I wasn’t already married, and if this wasn’t a piece of cardboard, and if it was in fact a human of the appropriate gender to meet my state’s statutory requirements, I would get down on one knee and propose to it. I might take one to Gavin Newsom and see what he can do in any event. Take down big things or just sear your opponent for five, at the cost of 1R and a Myr token.

, it’s even worse. Weenie and Affinity can outrace you if you can’t slow them down. Counter-heavy Affinity decks are not such great shakes, as you’ve got some recursion and, if all else fails, you can overrun them with itty bitty Myr. To be honest, however, you’re relying on you sideboard to come in and wreck the strategies of the presumptive favorite decks in block. The difference is that your deck will improve significantly post-sideboard, while the “coping with the mirror” sideboard of your opponent might not have much game against you.

This deck therefore has the advantage of being rogue, looking silly while packing a punch, and having a lot of flexibility. Don’t like green? Ditch the Oxidize
