. Feel free to head over to Google to see the virtual reams of text that have already been dedicated to this Darksteel uncommon, or simply peruse the offerings here at Cardshark. Either way, you're gonna see a lot of the 'Clamp.

And for good reason - it's sick. Sick like Mommy Dearest. It gives card drawing to the masses. It fuels aggro decks that once ran out of cards by turn four. It makes your critters well-nigh unblockable, because no one wants to give you two cards. And it fits well in practically any deck that runs a lot of creatures.

Hmm, isn't there a format where 1/3 of your deck has to be creatures of a certain type?

This deck is relatively inexpensive to build and very fun to play. If you dig through your collection, you may discover that you already have most of the pieces for it sitting in your binder, all alone, waiting for some rat-loving psycho to come along and turn them loose on the world. I'd love to give some in-depth strategic analysis, but for the most part, the idea is to play rats, attack with rats, clamp rats, and then bring rats back to life.
