CardShark Content - Marcus Anderson (8/13/2001)

The following is the long-awaited list of the finalists in the 2001 Master of Peasant Magic Tournament. These fine players fought their way through an 85-person double-elimination tournament that presented the best of what (a little) money could buy.

The rules were simple: make a deck with five uncommon cards and the rest must be common! Even though the field was shifted against red, there was a lot of burn, sligh, and goblins marching around. Johnny Lai will write the full analysis of the event. Organizer, Rob Baranowski, can answer any questions about the format at www.geocities.com/peasantmagic. If you wish to chat about the format, check out this discussion group at http://groups.yahoo.com/group/peasantmagic. And now, what everybody’s been waiting for… The top 9 deck lists!
