PayPal™
Before we get started, we want to tell you a little bit about how our e-commerce systems work. We use a
third party e-commerce system that is reliable, efficient, easy to use and, most of all, familiar to gaming
traders like you. We chose PayPal™ because it meets all of these requirements.
To buy and sell items on CardShark, you must be a PayPal™ member. Signing up is
quick and easy. Once completed, you can buy cards and figures from multiple sellers and only make a single PayPal™
transaction. As a buyer, PayPal™ will issue a money transfer from your PayPal™ account to the CardShark account. This transfer can be drawn from a credit card, your bank account or through deposited funds giving you maximum
flexibility when paying for purchases. After the transfer is complete, the seller will be notified to ship your order.
Get a jump start on the registration process and signup for your PayPal™ account now by clicking the logo on the
left. If you already have a PayPal™ account, use the same email address when registering with
CardShark. PayPal™ should recognize you automatically. If you choose not to register with PayPal™ now, you
can sign up when making your first order. Just click on the New to PayPal? Click here! link.
Buy Stuff

CardShark provides many simple ways to search for items to buy.
- Search by Name - In the upper left corner of each page is the "Search" by name option.
The search will find any cards that contain the word(s) you enter. Searching on 'asti', would return both
'Masticore' as well as 'Fasting' since they both contain the letters 'asti'.
If only one result is returned you will be sent directly to the card detail page for that card.
- Search Within a Set - The "Buy" button is on the top navigation bar.
Selecting this option allows you to search by various combinations within a specified set (i.e. Urza's Destiny, Lancers). Specific search tools may vary differ slightly between games.
For M:TG cards you can search by Card Name, Artist, Rules Text or Card Number. For Mage Knight, you can search by figure name or collector number. If the desired card or figure is
for sale, a full description is provided (rarity, strength, rules text, card name, number, artist, etc.) as
well as a listing of who is selling the card or figure. To purchase a single item, click 'add to cart' and proceed to the Shopping
Cart section below for more information. Note: we no longer allow users to sell singles as part of set (e.g. 4x Masticore).
- Browse Within a Set - If you are not sure which specific card or figure you wish to purchase, or you want to
complete your personal Urza's legacy set, browse through a specific set to view everything
that belongs to this set. Once you have located the desired card or figure, click on it to see if it is for sale.
If available and you wish to purchase it, click "Add to Cart" and proceed to Shopping Cart.
You are also entered into a monthly raffle for a free booster box when you buy stuff!

View Cart
To purchase individual cards and/or figures, click on the "Add to Cart" button located next to desired item.
Your card, or figure, will automatically be added to the shopping cart. You will be asked if you wish to Continue
Shopping or View Cart (to proceed to check-out). If you wish to purchase more, simply click on
"Continue Shopping" to search for other items and repeat the "Add to Cart" step.
When you are ready for check-out, select "Add to Cart," then select "View Cart" after your last item. Alternatively you
may click
on the Shopping Cart link. The contents of your shopping cart will appear. Here, you can remove items or continue
shopping. A link to Shipping Prices will appear next to shipping
that will detail how shipping charges are computed.
Once you have finalized the shopping cart, click on the PayPal - Click Here to Buy link to continue
with the transaction. If you are not registered with PayPal™,
click on the New to PayPal? Click here! link on the PayPal site to set up an account.
Upon completion of the PayPal™ segment, a payment is made from your PayPal™ account to
CardShark's. A confirmation email will be sent to you and CardShark; from PayPal™ confirming the transaction.
We expect you to receive your order within 7 days. If you
do not receive the order within 7 days, please click on I haven't received my cards in the "Your Account" section.
Our end goal is to ensure a short transaction cycle for both the buyer and seller. It can be frustrating to wait weeks
for a highly desired card. We hope our guidelines will help shape a better trading experience for you.
