How to Buy

Welcome to CardShark, the premier way to buy and sell collectable games online! It is important that all new members review these buying guidelines. Remember, every purchase you make enters you into a monthly raffle for a free booster box!

1. Search by Name. A handy card search box appears on the upper right corner of each page. This search will find any cards that contain the word(s) or fragment of a word that you enter, across all games. You can use partial words; searching on 'asti', would return both 'Masticore' as well as 'Fasting'.

2. Search Within a Set. Visit the "Buy" section up top to search within sets. For Magic cards, you can search by Card Name, Artist, Rules Text or Card Number.

3. Browse Within a Set. If you are not sure which card you wish to purchase, you can browse through a specific set in the "Buy" section.

CardShark uses PayPal to process all financial transactions. However, you do not need to have a PayPal account to purchase cards. We also accept Mastercard, Visa, American Express and Discover cards using Paypal as a secure transaction processing service.

Shipping charges are based on the quantity of cards you buy, and they are charged PER SELLER. The totals will appear on the shopping cart page so you can review them before you check out. Review shipping charges price chart.

CardShark offers tracking and insurance for purchase on many orders, though these options are offered at the discretion of the seller. When a seller does not offer these options, it means they are willing to take the risk for lost orders. We allow these options to give you a choice, so we can keep shipping charges low on small orders. (Be sensible - Please do not buy an expensive order without tracking or insurance!)

Buyers often ask us why there is a transaction fee when purchasing Magic Online cards. Because CardShark incurs a fee for each PayPal transaction, we pass a portion of those fees on to you.
