FAQ for Non-U.S. Buyers
It is important that all new non-U.S. members review these guidelines.
How do I pay for cards?
CardShark uses PayPal to process all financial transactions. However, you do not need to have a PayPal account to purchase cards. We also accept Mastercard, Visa, American Express and Discover cards using Paypal as a secure transaction processing service. Please note that credit card payments are not supported from all countries. Check with PayPal to see what they currently support. Visit PayPal International.
Do I need a PayPal account to sell cards?
Yes, you must have a PayPal account to sell cards on this site. Non-U.S. sellers may only sell MTGO cards at this time. PayPal does not process payments to all countries, so please check with their web site before listing cards on CardShark.
Sometimes I will search for a card and there are many sellers selling
the card. But when I click "add to cart" I am asked to sign in. After I
sign in, the sellers disappear. Why does this happen?
Not all sellers are authorized to sell outside of the U.S. Only premium sellers with Great White or Hammerhead designations are allowed to sell cards to overseas buyers.
What are shipping charges?
Shipping charges are based on the quantity of cards you buy, and they are charged PER SELLER. The totals will appear on the shopping cart page so you can review them before you check out. Insurance is not available on orders outside the United States; please note this risk when placing your order. Review shipping charges price chart.
How will I know that a seller received my order?
Once you make a purchase on CardShark, an email is sent to the seller. The
seller will confirm the order in 3 days. You, the buyer, will receive an
email saying that the seller has confirmed your order. If you do not
receive a confirmation email, you can cancel the order and receive a refund.
Go to you My Account page and click the link "A seller has not confirmed my order."
What do I do if I do not receive my order?
Please allow for 2-3 weeks for your order to arrive. If you do not receive your order in this timeframe, please visit the support pages to file a claim with the seller. Go to the support pages.
Please note: Your package may also be waiting at your local customs office. Be sure to contact them first.
Note that there may be a customs tax levied on your package, and it is your responsibility to pay this tax.
How can I find cards that are not in English?
Go to "Buy." Select a set and tick the box "Show only Foreign cards." Any card listed for sale that is not in English
will be noted in the Notes section.
